Biogas

ArTech inženjering - Biogas

Biogas plants are a key component of sustainable energy production, with equipment accounting for 70–80% of the industrial system. The central part of the plant consists of closed fermentation tanks connected to biogas storage tanks, which can be metal, PVC-covered, or entirely made of PVC.

Biogas is produced through the anaerobic fermentation of renewable raw materials, such as corn, cereals, grass, organic waste from the food industry, and manure. It consists of methane (55–80%) and carbon dioxide (20–45%), making it an environmentally friendly energy source. Biogas is used for electricity, heat, gas, and liquid fuel production, while significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions and the amount of organic waste.

The biogas is distributed from the tanks to energy production facilities and then to end users. The entire system is computer-controlled to ensure efficient process management. We provide planning, design, and construction services for biogas plants and their key components, ensuring system reliability and longevity.
