Prefabricated Sports Halls

Prefabricated sports halls represent a modern and efficient solution for covering sports courts, swimming pools, and other facilities. There are two different structural systems:

  • Air-supported halls (balloon halls) – pressure-stabilized PVC-PES membrane coverings, which, thanks to internal air pressure, form the designed geometry and independently bear loads from snow and wind.
  • Balloon halls with structural frame – halls with supporting elements made of steel or laminated timber, where the membrane functions as a roof covering.

The hall dimensions are adapted to different sports and can vary according to the requirements and needs of the users:

  • Width (span): 16–24 m
  • Length: 30–60 m
  • Height: Standard 7–11 m, but can be higher depending on the project requirements.

Quick assembly:

  • The complete hall can be installed within 60 days.
  • Enclosure assembly (installation of the structure and membrane) takes up to 14 days.

Although called “light prefabricated halls”, these constructions are extremely durable and resistant to all weather conditions, with simple and economical maintenance.

Sports Facilities Design

Design of sports facilities includes halls adapted to various sports activities – swimming, football, padel, basketball…

For both types of halls, a double membrane layer can be applied, creating an air layer with thermal insulation properties. This layer improves indoor comfort and enables significant energy savings in heating and cooling the facility.

Additional comfort factors:

  • The choice of PVC-PES membrane color affects visual and thermal comfort. White reflects sunlight and reduces heat gain inside the facility.
  • A transparency of 6–9% allows natural daylighting during the day and reduces the need for artificial lighting.

Football Hall

Membrane halls provide excellent conditions for recreational and professional football fields, with optimal height and ventilation.

Basketball Halls

Covering basketball courts allows year-round use regardless of weather conditions.

Tennis Halls

Specially adapted dimensions and lighting provide ideal conditions for training and tournaments.

Padel Halls

With precisely determined construction height and controlled microclimate, padel halls are quickly gaining popularity.

Swimming Pools

Covering swimming pools with membrane structures allows for temperature retention and protection throughout the year.

Multifunctional Halls

Halls adapted for multiple sports – from recreational activities to school and university gyms.

For all types of halls, a double membrane layer can be applied to achieve better thermal insulation properties and energy efficiency. The white color of the membrane reflects sunlight and reduces heat gain, while a transparency of 6–9% allows natural daylighting during the day.

Supporting Facilities & Amenities

In addition to sports courts, supporting facilities are designed – changing rooms, toilets, storage areas, cafés, and administrative spaces – in either masonry or prefabricated modular form, in accordance with applicable standards.
